US JOBS DATA COULD SET THE TONE FOR MARKETS
ADP reported 86,000 new private-sector jobs in October, beating expectations of 69,000. The ISM services employment index also moved into expansion at 51.4.
However, the official NFP report remains the key test. Markets will be watching payrolls, unemployment and wage growth for clues about the Fed’s next move.
Strong hiring could complicate expectations for a December rate cut, with the dollar and Treasury yields in focus.
