CORE TECHNOLOGY: The Consensus team enhanced the Haskell implementation of the Leios simulator by adding support for late input block inclusion. They also held the Consensus Working Group call, where the proposed tie-breaker change was discussed. This is now pending review by the Technical Steering Committee.
WALLETS AND SERVICES: @lace_io v.1.24 is now available. This release delivers three headline upgrades that move Lace significantly closer to being a seamless, multichain, and truly user-centric experience for the entire community.
SCALING: The Mithril team has started the process of upgrading the repository to the Rust 2024 edition and continued the ongoing refactoring of the STM cryptographic library to improve its clarity and long-term maintainability.
CATALYST: @Catalyst_onX is now just six Town Halls away from the incredible milestone of 200 sessions. This week, Town Hall #194 welcomed a special guest: @AguilarJanis, who discussed their Fund13 talent program and shared updates on Fund14.
VOLTAIRE: ada holders have approved the Intersect budget governance action. This approval marks a significant milestone in our collective decision-making process.
EDUCATION: The education team successfully hosted a Cardano Days event this week at the @sciencetokyo_en in Tokyo, bringing valuable insights to the local community. Work is ongoing for the Mastering Cardano initiative and the new Cardano Education Program (CEP), which features self-paced learning modules.
