Been chatting with some friends that are either interested in starting or joining a startup and the main disconnect I see is in *really* understanding how much retardio *may* be required just to survive I remember in the early days of @sphere_labs, not only did we not have health insurance for ~2 years, but @angeldesolana and I took an 8 hour bus in a country we had never been to and where we didn't speak the language to *hopefully* meet with a potential customer for 30 minutes — this was back when SOL had crashed to $15 and no one knew what a stablecoin was — the game plan was literally to beg if they didn't let us in 🤣 Each attempt to create something new necessarily has a lot of retardio to solve cold start, and that's the fun part kek (If you're a crypto-native that's world-class in *something* and you got that dawg in you, @sphere_labs continues to hire — and we now have great health insurance 😘)
