i'm the dumbest guy on the tl, and constantly wrong, so this is *not* a dunk, just a particularly poignant example of counter-trading ill timed sentiment lows as part of a rich diet of information sources.
(this phenomenon happens at highs too, perhaps even more egregiously)

the wall street journal ran 'crypto is cooked' on the front cover of its print paper nov 22, after 5 months of liquidity across the space steadily getting drained out.
the post suggests not just to panic sell/capitulate, but to *short* alts. during a tap of fartcoin's 1 year low it revisited once prior, at which point it ripped a nearly 10x mean reversion.
trading is very counter intuitive, and why so few folks do well
oftentimes when someone agonizes over selling, they should actually be buying
