A few months ago a few of us started experimenting with TEE × AI × practical tooling. Today we’re sharing the first public run of Dory. MVP includes: • Chat management • Insights (ChatGPT style over Telegram groups) • Nudges (trigger based pings) how it works & features 👇

URL: For these experiments we’re using @PhalaNetwork and dstack (gg @socrates1024 ) All core services run inside Phala Confidential VMs (TEE-backed). Code + data stay encrypted in use ; neither we nor the infra provider see plaintext. DB lives inside the same enclave. Traffic never leaves the CVM.

Authentication To start, you connect a Telegram account to Dory. (this means dory has access to this account, we using standard telegram auth flow for accounts) Why a Telegram account and not a bot? Because the goal is chat management + access control. Bots can’t manage membership or labels across groups. You need an actual account in the chats.

For teams: We recommend creating a dedicated Telegram account and adding it to all work chats you want to manage through Dory. You can use your personal account, just note you’re authorizing Dory (inside the TEE) to act on that account. Auth flow is simple: 1. Enter number 2. Get Telegram code 3. Done

Insights (AI) ChatGPT style questions about any connected group. Inference runs inside Phala Confidential AI. in example bellow i'm checking what was the chatter in @10b57e6da0 last few days.

Nudges Create triggers for phrases or events in chats. Dory pings you privately when it happens. We shiped a few templates to make onboarding easier (mentions nudges, chat inactivity but you can also create in natural language prompt for the nudge) show case video
