OKX is pleased to announce that we will be introducing a downtime recovery protection phase to optimize your trading experience during system maintenance and upgrade. During this phase, users can cancel orders, place Post Only orders, or transfer funds into their trading accounts to supplement their margin and reduce risks. In the meantime, the liquidation procedure will not be activated. Users cannot place or modify orders, either.
OKX will decide whether to initiate the downtime recovery protection phase based on the duration of the system maintenance and market volatility. Once initiated, the phase usually lasts for 10 minutes (we will decide whether to extend the phase depending on the specific situation). Users will be notified through OKX Status about any changes.
