When depositing or withdrawing crypto assets, you'll have many network options. A simple way is to always choose the native network of that crypto. For example:
- Send ETH or ERC20 crypto to your Ethereum address via the Ethereum network;
- Send OKT or KIP20 crypto to your OKC address via the OKC network;
- Send BSC or BEP20 crypto to your BSC address via the BSC network.
Here are two methods of choosing a network:
Method 1: Search for a crypto name and choose a network
For example, select Receive on the wallet homepage and search for a crypto name. Usually, crypto will be marked as deployed on a multi-chain or a certain chain. If crypto is multi-chain, you need to select the network before entering its details page.
Method 2: Add custom crypto and choose a network
If you can't find a crypto by name, you can tap Manage to add Custom crypto. Search for certain crypto on websites such as CoinGecko to obtain its contract address and deployed network. If crypto is deployed on the multi-chain, select the network you'd like to transfer to and copy the contract address.
Then, go back to OKX Wallet, select the network on the Custom crypto page, and paste the contract address to add that crypto.
It's important to carefully check the network when depositing or withdrawing assets. Otherwise, you may lose your funds. Besides, you need to deposit a certain amount of main-chain crypto as network fees to complete transfers, swaps, etc. Here are some commonly-used crypto: OKC-OKT, Ethereum-ETH, BSC-BNB, Tron-TRX, Solana-SOL, Polygon-MATIC, Optimism-ETH, Arbitrum-ETH, Fantom-FTM.
