Lending protocols are tested most seriously when markets become volatile. Aave’s long-term relevance depends on responsible risk parameters, healthy collateral, reliable liquidations, and borrowers who genuinely need on-chain credit. Higher deposits alone do not tell the full story. If borrowing demand and protocol revenue remain sustainable through different market conditions, that would offer a stronger picture of ecosystem health.
