Hot producer inflation is not yet a clean signal of broad price pressure: PPI rose 5.4% year over year, while core gained 0.2% on the month, slightly below forecast. My read is that stronger yields and the dollar leave CPI with a higher bar to clear. If consumer inflation also surprises higher, the case for looking through the producer-price jump becomes harder to defend. #PPIHotCPINext
