📈 Bitcoin Reclaims $65K, Straight Back Into Resistance
Post-Fed bounce. Bitcoin recovered from $62,383 to push above $65,000, now at $64,905, up 1.47% on the day. The Fed held rates as expected, but price is right back at the resistance ceiling that has capped every rally this month.
📈 Where it stands:
Price: ~$64,905 (up 1.47%)
Bounced from: $62,383 after the Fed decision
Capped by: the $65,500 to $66,500 supply zone
Fear and Greed: 28, still fear
The Fed held at 3.5% to 3.75%, a sixth straight pause, but three policymakers favored a hike and the tone stayed cautious on inflation. That's a hawkish hold, exactly what the market feared: no relief, just confirmation that rate cuts aren't coming soon. Bitcoin bounced anyway on the removal of uncertainty, but it's a relief rally into resistance, not a trend change. On the 1D, price is still trapped under the descending trendline and the $66,500 cap that has rejected it four times.
Three fresh risks now sit overhead, and they're real. US-Iran fighting reignited, oil surged 6.6% reviving inflation fear, and the CLARITY Act got delayed again. Each one pressures risk assets. Without renewed ETF inflows, this move leans on short covering and the $9.6 billion options expiry tomorrow, where max pain sits at $64,000.
What to watch:
Close above $65,200 and hold through the expiry, and $66,500 then $68K open up.
Reject here and lose $62,500, and $60,000 comes back into play.
A hawkish hold plus a bounce into resistance is not a breakout to chase. Let $65K confirm or fail after tomorrow's expiry, then act.
Relief rally clears $66K, or another rejection back toward $60K?
