AI infrastructure needs more than an exciting narrative; it needs useful output. Bittensor’s approach of coordinating specialized subnets creates an interesting experiment in decentralized machine intelligence. The long-term question is whether these networks can attract sustained demand from users who value their services, rather than participants motivated mainly by token incentives. Competitive performance and genuine utility will matter more than the AI label alone.
