SK Hynix beat earnings by almost 92% last quarter and the stock still fell almost 15%. 👀
Q2 EPS surprise: +91.76%. Price reaction: -14.71%. (investing)
Now Q3 is here, and the setup is wild:
🔹 Last year's Q3 operating profit was KRW 11.4 trillion. This year analysts expect about 77 trillion won, with a margin near 78%.
🔹 DRAM prices have risen 18 months in a row, NAND 21 months, and SK Hynix holds about half the HBM market.
