Price is the wrong place to start a $BTC vs $SOL comparison, because flows say more. Bitcoin's cumulative ETF inflows are above $120B, while Solana's are smaller, which makes it a second-tier allocation. That makes Bitcoin the default holding, while Solana's case rests on its roadmap, since the Alpenglow consensus overhaul reached a test cluster on May 11, 2026. $ETH sits between the two, so the real question is simple: in a slow market.
