LayerZero’s investment thesis is less about another standalone chain and more about coordination between chains. Its messaging infrastructure is designed for omnichain applications, which could become increasingly important as liquidity remains fragmented across ecosystems. The challenge is equally clear: interoperability is a crowded field, and technical adoption must translate into durable application usage rather than simply more narratives around cross-chain connectivity.
