Arweave addresses a fundamental problem that becomes increasingly important as blockchain applications generate more data: durable storage. Its permanent-storage model gives the network a distinctive utility compared with conventional decentralized storage. The bigger opportunity could come from applications and AI systems needing reliable data availability over long periods. Whether that demand becomes economically significant remains the key question for AR.
