Thetan Arena is a multiplayer online battle arena game that leverages blockchain technology to introduce various play-to-earn functions. The title has two native cryptocurrencies. Thetan Gem, which takes the ticker symbol THG, is an in-game medium of exchange, provides rewards to players and facilitates community governance of the project. Players can also earn Thetan Coin, or THC, for completing various gameplay objectives.
Thetan Arena uses both the KardiaChain and BSC networks to power its blockchain functions, including tradable characters, known as Heroes, represented by nonfungible tokens. Launched in late 2021, the GameFi title has already received backing from several notable investors, including Animoca Brands, Axia8 Ventures and Formless Capital.
