Ludena Protocol is a social GameFi platform connecting gamers with studios and publishers via the GameTalkTalk application. Originally a centralized app, GameTalkTalk was launched in 2013 and now boasts a user base of more than 3.5 million gamers. As part of its pivot toward play-to-earn blockchain gaming, the platform's native ERC-20 token, LDN, powers several features, including governance and staking. The token is also Ludena Protocol's medium of exchange.
Ludena Protocol operates on an Ethereum sidechain built by Enjin, and the ecosystem supports bridges between the Ethereum, Efinity and Jumpnet networks. Investors in Ludena include HG Ventures, Alphain Ventures and Spark Digital Capital. Meanwhile, the project has partnered with Enjin, MoonPay, Blockchain Game Alliance and several early GameFi titles.
