GuildFi is an effort to connect blockchain gaming initiatives within a broader GameFi ecosystem. It aims to serve as a hub for gamers to participate in play-to-earn games and crypto gaming guilds. GuildFi's native ERC-20 token goes by the ticker symbol GF. It provides membership to the GuildFi ecosystem, staking rewards and, eventually, decentralized governance functions. Currently deployed on Ethereum only, GuildFi plans to expand onto other blockchains. Members can create a GuildFi ID to interact with blockchain games and store achievements. The ecosystem also features a Game Discovery platform, helping gamers find emerging titles and subsidizing startup costs for newcomers. As of late 2021, GuildFi has received backing from DeFiance Capital, Hashed, Pantera and other large investors.
