The Tron platform aims to support creatives and content creators with its low-cost distribution and high scalability throughput. Tron is highly scalable and can process 10,000 transactions per second. To achieve such scalability, Tron uses a delegated proof-of-stake consensus mechanism. The Tron project is supported by partners such as Samsung, BitTorrent, Poloniex, Swisscom Blockchain, and Opera.
