1.INTRODUCTION

The privacy policy (this “PrivacyPolicy”) describes how we collect, use, share and store data and information of Users of our site (/web3) (the “Site”), any of its related or associated application program interfaces or mobile applications (the “Platform”) as well as all the products and services offered on or in which it is posted, linked, or referenced (the “OKX Web3 Ecosystem Services” or “Services”):

  • OKX Technology Inc., a U.S. Delaware registered company, for Users who are a resident of the United States; or

  • OKX Technology Services Pte. Ltd., a Singapore registered company, for all other Users eligible to access and use the OKX Web3 Ecosystem Services.

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site, the Platform, and any of the Services offered by OKX.

By using the Site, the Platform and/or the Services, you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy and our OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms of Service (“OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms”), and consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you have not done so already, please also review our OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms. The OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms contain provisions that limit our liability to you and require you to resolve any dispute with us on an individual basis and not as part of any class or representative action. This Privacy Policy shall be read and interpreted in conjunction with our OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to information collected through third-party websites or services that you may access through the Services or that you submit to us through email, voice message, text message or other electronic messages or any other methods of communication online or offline.

2. DEFINITION

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual or natural person, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, economic, cultural or social identity of you as a natural person, and it does not include de-identified or aggregated information and, to the extent permitted by law, does not include publicly available information that is lawfully made available to the general public or information that is lawfully made available from government records.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to Personal Information collected from employees, consultants, agents, advisors or candidates for employment with OKX.

4. WHAT OTHER INFORMATION WE DO COLLECT

We are committed to the privacy of our Users. Except as otherwise stated, we DO NOT actively collect Personal Information or any information that will lead to the identification of any User.

5. WHAT INFORMATION WE NEVER COLLECT

When you use any of our Services, we NEVER COLLECT OR STORE:

  • Your private keys

  • The password to your wallet account

  • Your seed phrase

We may use the Personal Information we collect from you for a variety of purposes, such as to:

  • Communicate with you about your activities on the Site and/or the Platform, and, in our discretion, changes to any policy or notice;

Local Storage Policy

Local Storage, including Javascript-enabled local Storage, is a typical way for a website to store a small file of letters and numbers in your browser. We use Local Storage in some of our Services in order to assign you a unique user ID for purposes of communication with you. Local Storage is deleted when the website that stored them deletes them.
