What's the P2P Merchant Program?

The Merchant Program is specially curated for the community of experienced crypto P2P users who are set to provide crypto liquidity in the marketplace. Merchants get to enjoy zero fees when they trade, and the higher tier you're at, the more benefits you'll reap.

What are the available tiers in Merchant Program?

This program consists of three tiers, which are Lite, Super and Diamond Merchant:

Users that have completed their verification will become Lite Merchants, which can enjoy access to basic features such as posting sell ads, having up to 5 pending orders, and trading up to 1,000 USD per sell ad.
If you're active in the P2P marketplace, becoming Super and Diamond Merchants would elevate your P2P trading experiences, such as unlocking access to more features and higher transaction limits. Compare the benefits here.

How do I become a Super Merchant?

Anyone who has met security and trading statistics requirements can apply to become a Super Merchant. Here's what you actually need to do:

Complete your identity verification
Have sufficient USDT in your Funding Account
Provide Proof of residential address (POA)

How do I become a Diamond Merchant?

The Diamond Merchant status is granted only to experienced and secure merchants, taking into account your trading volume, speed, and quality of service. Once you become Diamond Merchant, the status will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Before applying, you need to:

Make sure your main account has the required amount for the deposit
Your order completion rate meets the stated requirements

Where can I apply to become a merchant?

On the app

Open the OKX app, select Buy crypto > P2P trading
In P2P trading page, select Ads
Select Ads buttons to start posting Buy/Sell ads
Select Become a Super Merchant to join Merchant Program
You can select Become a Super Merchant to apply or upgrade your current Merchant tier

On the web

In okx.com, go to Buy crypto > P2P trading > More > Merchant Program
Go to Become a Super Merchant via the More button

Select Apply on the respective tier card to submit your application. The button will appear greyed out if you haven't fulfilled all requirements.

Will I be charged any service fee to join the Merchant Program?

There's no service fee to become a Super/Diamond Merchant or to post ads on the OKX P2P marketplace, but there might be bank/wallet charges when you send or receive payment with your preferred payment method outside of OKX. Check with your payment service provider on the applicable fees.

How long does it take for the Merchant application to get approval?

If you've applied to become Super or Diamond Merchant, please allow 14 days for the review to be completed.
