Development Update - X402 Payment Now at 95% Completion
The X402 Payment infrastructure has progressed to 95% completion, with all core settlement components entering their final validation and reliability stage.
We’re now finalizing:
• deterministic on chain micro-settlement flow
• QR based user → agent payment requests
• automated invoice verification pipelines
• high throughput, low latency task execution
• STARK ready transaction pipeline for zk validity
• cryptographically verifiable settlement proofs
These last pieces bring X402 Payment extremely close to full operational readiness.
This module is the backbone of the X402 autonomous agent economy- enabling trustless, instant micro payments between users, agents, and dApps without friction or manual verification.
Launch scheduled for December 12, 2025.
More updates soon as we enter the final integration checks.
Development Update – 90% Completion Reached
The HyperLayer infrastructure has now progressed to 90% completion, with all core systems entering the final validation, optimization, and pre-launch reliability phase.
Engineering work is now focused on tightening determinism, reducing proof overhead, and stabilizing multi network execution paths ahead of production readiness.
Current engineering work includes:
Final integration of the x402 settlement engine with deterministic multi phase commit logic and cross network reconciliation
Batch optimized zk-STARK proof pipeline, including proof size reduction, hint optimization, and parallelized verifier execution
Cross chain deployment hardening across Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Arbitrum with consistent gas profiles and RPC fallback logic
A2A load testing at scale, simulating failure injection, degraded network latency, replay attempts, and timeout boundaries
High-frequency WebSocket event stream layer, enabling real time updates for settlement events, proof cycles, and agent status transitions
Security hardening pass: rate limit enforcement, signature level replay protection, deterministic request hashing, and validator side throttling
Internal observability suite expansion, adding granular proof timing traces, settlement runtime metrics, RPC latency heatmaps, and failure correlation tracking
End-to-end test harness for multi network payment routing with synthetic on chain conditions and concurrent agent execution scenarios
Parallel work in progress:
Production ready multi chain API surface for the upcoming x402 Payment SDK
Pre-release browser module integration for verified search queries and cryptographic proof surfacing
Final UI/UX pass on the HyperLayer dashboard with unified agent workflows and network telemetry
Deployment prep for public testnet benchmarking (proof throughput, settlement speed, RPC variability)
