1/ Want your users to access the best risk-adjusted USDC yield out there? Want to enable your @base AI Agent to access a vault of vaults, tapping into mainnet yield? Docs for integrating with Gauntlet USD Alpha are now available. Want the step-by-step? Open this 🧵
2/ Supplying into Gauntlet USD Alpha is a combination of two function calls: approve and requestDeposit. Both calls must be made to the provisioner contract (0x18CF8d963E1a727F9bbF3AEffa0Bd04FB4dBdA07), not the vault contract. requestDeposit is asynchronous. The user submits USDC to the provisioner, and gtUSDa is sent back to the user's wallet after the request is solved, usually within 6 hours. For examples of approve and requestDeposit calls, refer to the documentation:
3/ Withdrawals are also a function of two calls to the provisioner contract: approve and requestRedeem. As requestDeposit, requestRedeem is also asynchronous, where the user provides vaultUnits back to the Provisioner contract, and after the request is solved, the user will receive USDC in their wallet. For examples of approve and requestRedeem calls, refer to the documentation:
4/ As requestDeposit and requestRedeem are asynchronous, applications may want to monitor the status of the calls and display it to their users. When a deposit or redeem is filled, one of the following events will be emitted in the Provisioner: DepositSolved or RedeemSolved. To get a user’s balance of gtUSDa, apps can simply call balanceOf on gtUSDa’s contract with the user’s address, and then use the PriceAndFeeCalculator contract to calculate the USDC value. As for the vault’s APY, one of the most accurate ways to calculate it is to fetch the 7D share price differential and annualize it. For more details, refer to the documentation:
