If you have deposited in the BasisOS Vault, here are some points to be aware of. There has been a lot of chatter about the @virtuals_io ecosystem, especially from @VaderResearch, which has been providing updates almost daily regarding the Basis Vault. Today, while withdrawing funds, I discovered something that I want to share as a caution for anyone considering depositing funds. The Basis Vault uses LINK or $WBTC to implement a delta-neutral strategy through hyperliquid to grow assets. When I deposit assets, part of it is used for operations while some is kept for withdrawals. Currently, there are almost no assets being operated with LINK, but for the WBTC I deposited, it shows that 97% of the total amount is in operation, yet the amount available for withdrawal from a vault close to 5M is only $338. This means that any amount beyond this must be withdrawn from the project's operating assets, and it is currently uncertain how long it will take to get the assets back. I couldn't find detailed information on whether withdrawing more than this amount incurs fees or is free, so especially for those who have deposited large amounts, it would be wise to take a look. I only have about $800, so I withdrew it all at once without much concern, but there could be issues if you need funds urgently, so please consider the risks before investing.
