Navigating Legacy V2 positions on frontends
With the redeploy window starting tomorrow, key changes will go live across frontends by Monday.
🔸 A 'Legacy Position' banner will appear on existing positions
🔸 Use the 'Legacy Withdrawal' page to exit your old positions
🔸 Legacy $BOLD may show up without a logo or appear as BOLD Legacy in wallets and DEXes.
Unwind Legacy V2 positions
Starting tomorrow, frontends will begin preparing ahead of the V2 redeployment to the new Liquity V2.
Naming, logos, and UI behavior will update - the current app becomes the legacy version.
With this in mind, users are advised to unwind legacy positions before the weekend:
Stability Pool depositors
👉 Withdraw deposits to avoid potential risk.
Borrowers
👉 Repay loans while legacy $BOLD liquidity remains favorable.
BOLD holders (no loan)
👉 Consider selling via DEXes or limit orders on aggregators. Redemptions remain possible but may involve dynamic fees and slippage.
⚠️ Temporary UI disruptions may occur during the transition. The legacy app may not function as expected.
âś… Closing legacy positions will still be possible for a limited time post-redeployment.
