PANews 6月3日消息，据Cryptotimes报道，北美太阳能及储能项目开发商SolarBank宣布将效仿Strategy，将比特币作为其财务储备资产。公司已申请开通Coinbase Prime账户用于托管比特币，并计划结合自托管钱包管理资产。SolarBank表示，此举旨在对冲通胀与法币贬值风险，同时吸引关注加密货币与DeFi领域的科技型投资者。

公司CEO Richard Lu称，比特币符合其在能源与金融领域的长期战略，但具体购买计划将视市场条件、比特币价格及现金流情况而定，且不排除调整策略的可能。目前SolarBank尚未购入任何比特币，并重申其核心业务仍为可再生能源项目开发与运营。
