Spent all morning digging into the new Kaito algo changes and comments from everyone? It's fascinating everyoone's new take is.
@Cjay_BTC 's right about smaller accounts taking the hit, but @xerocooleth 's point about reducing "AI SLOP" just makes sense.
Compare to many giants, I am a small creator account and these weekly post mindshare limits hit different.
Not gonna lie, it stings a bit.
Here's what's actually good i feel:
- Less farming = cleaner feed
- Weekly caps hurt smaller creators
- But it could force better quality overall
Real talk: Is this just KAITO trying to save on X scraping costs, or are they actually trying to help projects grow organically?
Remember what happend to Eliza / Pumpfun?
I think they were not paying the super high rate of TWITTER ENTERPRISE API, and then they got purged yesterday? Maybe kaito isn't either, and this could be a way to save on X cost?
Anyone else feeling the impact of these changes? Curious how other small creators are adapting to this.
Been in the game long enough to know that sometimes restrictions lead to innovation or more gamification.
Maybe it's time we get creative with our content strategy.
What's your take on this? Are you posting less but focusing on quality, or still trying to maintain high volume?
Anyhow on CT, some creators really care at the end is to make money, maybe some of us just rely on Elon X creator royalties and not think about these kaito algo changes.

Point 2: Reduced Max Weekly Mindshare Posts
Like I earlier mentioned, this is where I disagree. Capping weekly posts feels restrictive. Why penalise creators for producing multiple high-quality posts? If I craft so many Somnia posts in a week (say, a testnet tutorial, a dApp review, and a comparison post with another L1), only a few counting feels demotivating. It's already not cool that we don't know this cap number.
Still, I'll adapt by being hyper-selective, aiming for 2 to 3 top-tier posts weekly. Each post will be packed with value. For example, narrative storytelling, in-depth threads on Somnia's $10M @dreamcatalysts grants or video demos of dApps/games like @playSparkball or @uprising_labs's games.
This actually hurts for me because I've come too far in the Somnia rabbit hole to post only for mindshare. But then it also hurts not getting mindshare. Demotivating is the right word. Yes quality over quantity quite understandable, but I hope Kaito reconsiders this cap.
This is even more unfair for a project like @Somnia_Network where weekly events and updates feel like monthly because there are just a lot to talk about. I hope Somnia toggles the customisation option to the highest available.
This also implies that I might have to add additional projects to my yap list which is what I personally didn't want to do and concentrate only on Somnia. But then if posts are capped, the wise choice is to yap more projects.
