It's UX time!
최근 등장하는 블록체인 신규 프로젝트들의 공통적인 특징은, 월렛, 간편한 DEX, 온체인 에이전트 등 블록체인 UX를 개선하려는 시도에 초점이 맞춰져 있다는 점입니다.
많은 분들이 Kaito에서 야핑하고 있는 Magic Newton(@MagicNewton)이나 UXLINK(@UXLINKofficial)도 블록체인에서의 경험을 보다 편하게 해주기 위한 UX 중심 프로젝트들이죠.
반면, 인프라 관련 프로젝트는 ZK 분야의 Succinct 등 일부를 제외하면 눈에 띄지 않습니다.
전통적으로 블록체인 기술과 업계의 메타는 인프라 → Dapp → UX가 순환하며 시장을 주도해 왔습니다.
현재 인프라 영역은 일정 수준의 한계에 다다랐고, ZK 기술이 성숙되기 전까지는 한동안 조용할 것으로 보입니다. (지난 인프라 메타의 핵심 내러티브였던 리스테이킹이 기대만큼 주목받지 못한 영향도 있겠고요.)
이와 달리 UX 영역은 수요와 기술 양쪽 모두의 흐름을 타고 활발히 새로운 프로젝트들이 등장하고 있습니다.
밈코인 열풍, 블록체인 관련 규제 완화 등으로 많은 사람들이 온체인을 새롭게 경험하고 있고, 수년 전부터 꾸준히 업그레이드 중인 계정 추상화(Account Abstraction)도 본격적으로 다양한 월렛에 적용되기 시작했으며, 여기에 AI 산업과의 시너지까지 더해져 다양한 UX 혁신이 이어지고 있습니다.
언제나 그랬듯 이번 UX흐름도 수많은 프로젝트 중 소수만이 끝까지 살아남겠지만, 그렇게 살아남은 팀들이 블록체인의 UX를 획기적으로 개선하게 될 것입니다.
UX가 개선되면 더 많은 사람들이 온체인을 자연스럽게 사용하게 되고, 그때 다시 인프라 개선에 대한 수요가 등장할 것입니다.
또한 이를 바탕으로 한 새로운 Dapp들도 힘을 얻게 될 것이라 기대해 봅니다.
