The CEO of Aptos Labs called for clear regulatory guidance for blockchain development at a hearing in the U.S. Congress
PANews reported on June 5 that Avery Ching, co-founder and CEO of Aptos Labs, said at a hearing of the U.S. House of Representatives Agriculture Committee that digital assets are not only used for speculation, but also build a new infrastructure that is transparent, programmable and accessible to all. He called for a clear, prudent regulatory environment for developers to continue the U.S. as a tech leader in the blockchain era, and thanked the Commission for its united efforts in advancing the issue. Ching also pointed out that Aptos gets its name from the Californian town "Aptos", which is derived from the Ohlone word for "people".
