Useless touched 72 mil. Going higher. Shared this at 2 mil and was lynched for writing a thesis on my convictions/vision for this. There was a witch hunt for Bonk Guy and I- torches, knives, and pitchforks. Useless. CT has a strong antibody reaction to anyone treating memecoins as ideological/ intellectual and I get it. It’s funny to mock and in some ways probably annoying- but I believe that’s how we find new paradigms. I don’t see how else we push the medium forward or find our way back towards unbridled speculation in the wake of Trump’s destruction. We need some new ideas. I’m seeing a whole different demographic of Twitter engaging with Useless, one that usually doesn’t engage with memecoins at all. The Marc Andreeson/ Lindyman/ defi/ utility/ tradfi type of crowd who usually see memecoins as being beneath themselves. It makes sense they would gravitate towards a coin that is transparently “Useless”. It’s also been very fulfilling and dope to see the commentary itself expanding into the same intellectual territory. I’ve seen a lot of posts that resonate with the fine art side of me. It’s reaching a unique demographic and starting conversations that are opening the door to new metas/ people/ vibes/ ideas. Something different is happening here and that should excite you. Useless is proving itself quite useful.
