I've always wanted to set up automated monitoring. I tried using IFTTT to capture Twitter keywords, recorded on-chain data fluctuations with Excel macros, and used many Twitter monitoring products, but none were satisfactory. As someone who still has to work during the day, I can't afford to mess around with these half-baked solutions.
However, I recently discovered that Tomo has an AI Alpha feature while scrolling through Twitter, and I was particularly interested in it. After researching, I found that it can greatly reduce the time I spend collecting useful information and help me distill key content.
Tomo Wallet is an all-in-one Web3 social wallet developed by Tomo Inc., aimed at promoting the mass adoption of cryptocurrency. Tomo Inc. is part of the TomoChain ecosystem, which focuses on providing a fast, secure, and scalable blockchain platform that supports decentralized applications (dApps) and digital asset issuance. The main investor is @polychain, and the co-founder is Ryan Fang @ryanfang95.
In this article, I will mainly introduce Tomo's new feature: AI Alpha.
1. Hot Call Ranking
Filtering out ineffective information and distilling the essence is very important. The "Call Ranking" in Tomo AI Alpha addresses this pain point, with the following main advantages:
1. Aggregates Twitter-related dynamics from numerous KOLs. As shown in the image, by aggregating relevant dynamics, it generates a call ranking, making it easier for traders to grasp the day's hot trends.
2. The "Dynamic" section is the Tweet Tracer; clicking on "Only Show Calls" can effectively filter out low-quality tweets, improving the efficiency of scanning tweets.
3. The "Discover" section is even more interesting, which is a major highlight of the Tweet Tracer. We can discover which accounts KOLs are following without having to check their following lists. Through aggregation, we can better discern the audience and dissemination level of accounts.
2. Clue Function
Based on the content of X posts, the "Clue Function" of Tomo allows users to immediately obtain the recommendation history and attention of relevant KOLs. Specifically, users can see:
1. Which KOLs were the first to discover and recommend the token;
2. Which KOLs repeatedly mentioned the token, indicating their sustained attention;
3. Which well-known influencers have also shown interest, allowing for market sentiment assessment.
The true value of this function lies in its ability to help us trace back to historical hot tokens, find the KOLs who discovered them first, and continuously track their latest recommendations. We can make investment decisions based on KOL dynamics before new projects gain widespread attention, thus seizing opportunities before the projects take off.
As you all know, I recently called out the $Troll token. I mentioned this token, and at that time, I found that hardly any locals were paying attention to it when I searched on Twitter. Then I opened Tomo's clue function and learned that this token is mostly being built by foreign KOLs, and it was a hot token on the ETH chain back in the day, so the old OGs are likely to return to speculate.
