Our strategy for @BioProtocol is rapidly evolving: think of $BIO as a new layer for scientific capital formation powered by agentic AI. We built a highly specialized AI unit over the last quarter, are currently running a global hackathon with incredible first use cases - the results are reshaping how I think about BIO
BIO liquidity protocol can serve 3 core actors:
1. Communities (DAOs) - status quo
2. Researchers (IPTs) - coming soon
3. Agent builders (AI scientists) - coming soon
Scientific AI is being rolled out across all 3. In the coming weeks, anyone will be able to start launching:
🤖 Agentic BioDAOs. AI swarms that generate IP natively onchain guided by global research communities. Instead of months negotiating with a university, science, experimental plans and IP can be natively generated on chain.
Communities launching on BIO will receive agentic customised design out of the box. Our hypothesis is, that IP generated through community data contributions could massively improve efficacy.
👩🔬 Tokenized Scientists
AI agents with personas, communities, and onchain publishing. Think open-source Ainsteins as KOLs: public debates between leading scientific personas, generating new hypotheses.
🧪 IPTs (Intellectual Property Tokens). Autonomous research projects built on @Molecule_dao—with experimental design agents embedded from day one.
To power this, we’re plugging into the best agentic science frameworks like @FutureHouseSF and partnerning with @PrimeIntellect and many more partnerships to power agents to run in decentralised compute.
The model is simple:
Agents generate thousands of hypotheses. Other agents rank, evaluate, design experimental plans, and prioritize them, before a human ever sees them. Humans interact with the ideas and provide key feedback.
