Who will be the Lido of Bitcoin?
• @SolvProtocol's SolvBTC mirrors Lido’s early explosive growth, leading with $2.2B TVL, 26.4K BTC staked, and 1.1M users but like many early DeFi giants, its growth hinges on token incentives rather than sustainable infrastructure.
• @Lombard_Finance's LBTC reflects Lido’s structural maturity, pairing $1.74B TVL and 20.7K BTC staked with a cleaner, Babylon-native design positioning it as the strongest contender for long-term dominance.
• fBTC by @FunctionBTC resembles the early institutional tailwind Lido gained, with $1.65B TVL and 14K BTC staked. Its traction, though less visible in user numbers, hints at serious, high-conviction capital.
• stBTC and tBTC by @TheTNetwork represent experimental forks of the Lido model, each with ~4–4.6K BTC staked stBTC banking on gamification; tBTC is staying true to decentralization but struggling to scale.
• rBTC by @rootstock_io, sBTC by @Stacks, and pumpBTC by @Pumpbtcxyz echo early Ethereum LST outliers, with limited data and fragmented adoption. Their potential hinges on either composability breakthroughs or tokenomic overhauls.
