$BTC is back above $80K, but the more interesting number isn’t the price.
A single hour saw roughly $183M in short liquidations during the breakout.
That tells us something about positioning: traders were leaning heavily the wrong way before the move.
The question now isn’t “can BTC go higher?”
It’s whether fresh leverage starts replacing the shorts that just got wiped out.
