The Superchain concept makes Optimism particularly interesting from an infrastructure perspective. Instead of treating every Ethereum Layer-2 as an isolated competitor, the OP Stack creates an opportunity for multiple chains to share a common technological foundation. The important question is how much economic value this expanding ecosystem eventually creates for OP governance and its wider network.
