Ethena highlights a different side of stablecoin growth: the design of the yield and collateral system behind the dollar peg. Growth in circulating supply can indicate demand, but it also raises questions about collateral quality, hedging execution, counterparty exposure, and redemption conditions. ENA analysis should distinguish ecosystem expansion from risk reduction, because a larger system is not automatically a more resilient one.
