The main cause of this round of adjustment is not within the crypto circle but macro expectations stirring again. If inflation exceeds expectations, market concerns about the Fed tightening will rise, and funds may continue to withdraw from high-risk assets. Crypto is especially sensitive to liquidity changes, so reducing positions in advance is not surprising.
