Around $2.3B worth of ZEC was held in the affected private pool, meaning the exploit could have had massive consequences.
He had the opportunity to take advantage of it, but chose to report the vulnerability instead and is now seeking a $750K bounty.
It’s reassuring to see people in crypto still choosing integrity over exploitation.
Honestly, for protecting billions in potential losses, I think a $10M+ reward would be far more appropriate.
