$SNDK's strong opening followed by a sharp pullback played out much as expected.
The weakness wasn't isolated. Much of tonight's pressure came after the broader reaction to $AAPL's earnings, while $META also faced selling as investors questioned the pace of AI spending despite its long-term potential. Ironically, Microsoft was rewarded by the market even though AI investment remains a major theme for both companies.
Treasury yields and yesterday's aggressive rally also weighed on sentiment. After such a strong move, today's session looked more like a profit-taking opportunity than the start of another leg higher.
SanDisk opened nearly 7% higher, only to reverse into negative territory within the first 15 minutes of trading—a reminder that strong opens don't always translate into sustained momentum.
The earlier flat-position exit proved to be the right decision.
Now it's a matter of staying patient and waiting for the next high-probability setup rather than forcing a trade.
